Sam McIntyre is the founder of Ownly, the New Zealand real estate platform that helps high-performing agents launch their own brand, keep more of what they earn, and operate without the risk of going it alone.
Founded by experience
Sam is a top-performing salesperson, award-winning franchise and nationwide agency owner, and industry leader with more than a decade in New Zealand real estate. After helping build, and then exiting, what was at the time the country's largest disruptive real estate agency, he knew exactly where high performers get stuck: they create most of the value, keep a small share of it, and have almost no room to progress under someone else's brand.
Filling a gap in the market
Having lived that ceiling himself, Sam looked for a way high-performing agents could own their name without taking on the full cost, compliance and operational load of starting from scratch. That gap is Ownly. The model takes the time, hassle, cost and risk out of launching a bespoke real estate brand so the agent can keep selling.
